Currently, Mary A. Francis occupies the position of Secretary & Chief Governance Officer at Chevron Corp.

She is also on the board of San Francisco Symphony, Council of Institutional Investors (former Co-Chairman), The College of William & Mary Foundation, Inc. and American Heart Association (Greater Bay Area).

In her past career Ms. Francis occupied the position of General Counsel at Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration & Production Co., Managing Counsel at Chevron Pipe Line Co. and Lead Senior Counsel at Chevron Shipping Co. LLC.

She received an undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College, a graduate degree from The College of William & Mary and an MBA from Haas School of Business.
