Currently, Jian Ping Liu occupies the position of Chairman for Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd., Deputy General Manager at Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd. (a subsidiary of Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd.), Chairman for Yunnan Copper (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chairman at China Copper Corp. Ltd.

He is also Deputy General Manager at Aluminum Corporation of China Ltd.

In the past Mr. Liu occupied the position of Chairman for Chinalco Mining Corporation International.

Jian Ping Liu received an undergraduate degree from Renmin University of China.
