Currently, Gustavo Werneck da Cunha is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Metalúrgica Gerdau SA, Chief Executive Officer at Seiva SA Florestas e Industrias and Chief Executive Officer & Director at Gerdau SA.

He is also on the board of Brazil Steel Institute.

In the past Mr. Da Cunha held the position of Industrial Director at Arjas Steel Pvt Ltd.

He received an undergraduate degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and an MBA from Insper Institute of Education & Research.
