U.S. Bancorp est un groupe de services financiers organisé autour de 5 pôles d'activités :
- banque de détail (41,3% des revenus) : vente de produits et de services bancaires classiques et spécialisés (crédit-bail, prêt hypothécaire, assurance, etc.) ;
- prestations de services de paiement (24,2%) ;
- banque d'affaires et banque commerciale (18,6%) ;
- gestion de patrimoine (12,3%) ;
- banque de marché (3,6%).
A fin 2020, le groupe gère 429,8 MdsUSD d'encours de dépôts et 297,7 MdsUSD d'encours de crédits.
La commercialisation des produits et services est assurée au travers d'un réseau de 2 434 agences bancaires implantées aux Etats-Unis.
