Dr. Snape serves both New England Partners & Nexus Medical Partners. Dr. Snape co-founded Nexus in 1996. Dr. Snape has been involved in the formation and management of numerous private equity firms with over $375 million under management, including The Vista Group, Cygnus Ventures (UK) and Orien Ventures, as well as several technology companies, including MPD Technology Corporation, The Liposome Company, Plant Genetics, Immunogen, and Vim Rx Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining New England Partners, he served as Managing General Partner of The Vista Group, Chairman of Orien Ventures, a private equity firm with Pacific Rim affiliations, and as a Director of the Cygnus Funds, two U.K.-based private equity firms focused on European investments.

He also has served on the Boards of numerous successful technology and middle market companies including Emulex Corporation, The Liposome Company and Hilex Poly.

He has pioneered a number of technological innovations and authored numerous technical papers on advanced materials.

He holds several patents in his field.

Dr. Snape holds B.S. and PhD degrees from the University of Leeds, England.
